Providence Health & Services Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Oregon City, Oregon

Oregon City, OR – Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatry physician for its 22-bed unit, co-located with the Child and adolescent psychiatry clinic for continuity of care. Experience all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer from the beautiful and welcoming city of Oregon City.

• Full-time position.

• New graduates and residents will be considered.

• Position will include rounding on patients in the unit and ED consults.

• Some weekend coverage and call will be expected on a rotating basis.

• Multi-disciplinary and collaborative team of physicians, nurses, mental health therapists, mental health associates and social workers.

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, one of five Providence hospitals in the Portland Service Area, has 143 licensed beds and an active medical staff of 150. In operation since 1954 as a not-for-profit hospital dedicated to exceptional care, PWFMC is also a leader in community outreach and involvement. A recently completed expansion wing houses fully digital, state-of-the-art Emergency and Diagnostic Imaging departments, offering some of the most advanced medical technology in Oregon.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Child Adolescent Psychiatry

  • Oregon Medical License (MD or DO)

  • BLS or PALS for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association

  • Active DEA License
