Providence Health & Services Senior Manager - Adolescent & Child Mental Health Program in West Linn, Oregon


Providence is calling a Senior Manager - Adolescent & Child Mental Health Program to Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Be responsible for program and financial operation interface for the child and adolescent psychiatric unit at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center (PWFMC).

  • Report to Regional Behavioral Health leadership with a matrixed relationship to PWFMC administration.

  • Work focusing on operational program development and implementation and the improvement of clinical and financial performance.

  • Be responsible to provide assistance in development of overall programming and provision of services so they are: evidence based, quality driven, responsive to the needs of patient/family/referral source satisfaction while adhering to budgetary performance expectations.

  • Be responsible for development and oversight of the capital budgets and coordinating development of operational budgets.

  • Be responsible for understanding the underlying payment models for services and working with the revenue cycle team to efficiently and effectively manage nuances of behavioral health billing, reimbursement and collection practices.

  • Be accountable to create capacity to maintain positive payor relations and partnerships in crafting and delivering cost effective and outcomes effective care.

  • Work with Quality and Compliance partners within the Facilities and Division for oversight of compliance with all Federal, State, and other regulatory agencies, and TJC (The Joint Commission) accreditation.

  • Direct operations in accordance with the policies, procedures and values of the Sisters of Providence.

  • Be responsible for development and oversight of business and marketing plans for programs within the Behavioral Health Division.

  • Be responsible for representing service within the multiple venues within Providence Health & Services, the community and State of Oregon.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s degree, with Oregon licensure in related Behavioral Health field

  • 5 years of progressively responsible leadership positions in a Behavioral health setting

  • Skilled experience to include expertise in personnel and departmental budgeting practice as well as day-to-day facility operations, policy and procedure development and execution, utilization management compliance, labor relations, regulatory agency rules and survey preparation in an acute care setting

  • Experience in physician relations

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Knowledge and experience in an acute psychiatric treatment setting serving patients under the age of 18
